According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a driver traveling northbound on Oracle Road failed to stop for a red light and crashed into the side of a car

Catalina, AZ. – An elderly woman died in a multi-vehicle collision near Catalina on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on Oracle Road near milepost 88 on Saturday, October 4.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a driver traveling northbound on Oracle Road failed to stop for a red light and crashed into the side of a car.
The impact pushed the second car into a pickup truck.
Sandra Mader, 74, was riding in one of the vehicles and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver who ran the red light, identified as Cassandra Lee, of Green Valley, admitted to have been on her phone while driving and crashed as she was putting down a drink.
Lee is reportedly facing manslaughter charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
