According to the authorities, the accident took place at the North Delaware Street and State Street intersection at around 7:30 p.m. March 28.

Sandoval was hospitalized with critical injuries while one of the juveniles sustained a fractured skull. As of Wednesday, Sandoval remained in the ICU while the minors had been discharged from the hospital.
