San Mateo, CA – A juvenile electric bike rider was injured after crashing into a car Saturday afternoon at an intersection in San Mateo, authorities reported.
The incident transpired around 2:42 p.m. at East Polar Avenue and North San Mateo Drive.
According to police, a juvenile rider on an e-bike slammed into a car and sustained minor injuries. It was unclear if the minor was hospitalized.
The driver of the car was not considered to be at fault.
An investigation is ongoing.
