San Diego, CA – 19-year-old Peter Turner Ratcliffe has been identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office as the motorcyclist who died in a collision early Monday morning in San Diego’s Scripps Ranch neighborhood.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m.in the 10000 Carroll Canyon Road.
The teen was riding a 2021 Honda motorcycle eastbound when he crashed into the rear of another vehicle.
Ratcliffe, a resident of San Diego, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Information about the involved car was not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
