The San Diego County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Maxwell William Corotis, a 67-year-old resident of San Diego.
Authorities said two vehicles collided on Old Highway 80 at Tierra del Sol Rd in Boulevard at about 9:48 p.m. on May 29, 2026.
One person, later identified as Maxwell Corotis, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10:05 p.m.
