Rider Hospitalized after San Diego Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 15 near Rancho Bernardo Road
San Diego, California (February 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Thursday afternoon in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at about 4:16 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway, near Rancho Bernardo Road.
CHP officers said a Kawasaki motorcycle and a car of unknown description were involved in the accident.
The motorcyclist sustained a fracture to the left leg. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the rider to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators did not immediately establish the cause of the accident, but they are collecting more information.
