
San Diego, CA – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Pacific Highway in San Diego early Thursday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident occurred on the northbound Pacific Highway just south of Anna Avenue at approximately 4:00 a.m. on December 4, 2025.
The decedent, identified as 33-year-old Eric Woodson Jr., reportedly stepped onto the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle. Paramedics responded to the scene after 911 was called and transported him to UCSD Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:42 a.m.
There were no other reported injuries in the crash, and no arrests have been made in connection with the crash.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. The incident has been classified as an accident, and blunt force injuries were determined as the cause of death.
