1 Suffers Minor Injuries in San Diego Car Accident on Highway 52 and Interstate 15
San Diego, California (March 26, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Saturday morning in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. on the westbound Highway 52 to northbound Interstate 15 connector.
The crash involved a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Dodge Challenger.
A party called authorities to report the accident saying the Challenger attempted to take the transition ramp at the last minute and caused the collision.
One person sustained minor injuries. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Caltrans was requested to respond with a sweeper to help clear cobblestone and debris that was scattered in the roadway.
