Preliminary reports indicate that Matthew Clark, 52, of Oxnard, was driving a Ford Super Duty pickup truck southbound on Cienega Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with the passenger side of a Subaru Crosstrek

San Bernardino County, CA – Kathy Greenwood and Sandy have been identified as the two women who died in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in San Bernardino County on Monday morning.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. May 4, on Cienega Road near Big Bear Boulevard in Big Bear Lake.
Preliminary reports indicate that Matthew Clark, 52, of Oxnard, was driving a Ford Super Duty pickup truck southbound on Cienega Road when he failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with the passenger side of a Subaru Crosstrek.
The Subaru, driven by Kelly Satterfield, was heading west on Big Bear Boulevard when it was broadsided by the Ford. Satterfield was riding with her mother, Kathy Greenwood, and a family friend only identified as Sandy.
According to authorities, Sandy was declared deceased at the scene. Greenwood was flown to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where she was later declared deceased.
Satterfield was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
Clark was treated for minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the accident. On Tuesday, he posted $250,000 bail and was released.
The accident remains under investigation and further details are expected to be released.
