San an Bernardino, CA – A male pedestrian was killed late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle on I-215 South, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).The collision occurred on I-215 South at the Inland Center Drive onramp at approximately 11:30 p.m., CHP confirmed.
Authorities reported a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. CHP logs indicate the pedestrian was found lying in the middle lane of the onramp and appeared to have been struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on I-215.
Fire personnel responded and initiated CPR; however, the pedestrian had no pulse. The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional injuries were reported, and CHP did not announce any arrests in connection with the crash.
The cause of the collision has not been determined and remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
