The man was transported to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, where he later died

Riverside County, CA – Samuel Martinez, 28, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died after a collision that happened on Monday afternoon in Homeland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 4:22 p.m. near the 31581 block of McWade Avenue.
A motorcycle and a silver Dodge minivan collided in unclear circumstances. Police and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the collision.
Martinez, a resident of Homeland, was transported to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, where he later died.
The van driver was unhurt.
The motorcycle was towed away from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
