Riverside, CA – The motorcyclist who was killed after colliding with a vehicle at a Riverside intersection on Tuesday night has been identified.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau identified the rider as Christopher Tapia, 39, of Riverside.
Tapia was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8:50, just 10 minutes after the accident occurred.

Riverside County, CA – One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Tuesday night at an intersection in Woodcrest, a census-designated place in Riverside County.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the accident took place around 8:40 p.m. on June 9, 2026, at Van Buren Boulevard and Porter Avenue.
A green 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a blue 4-door sedan were involved in the crash.
The CHP report did not give details about the manner and cause of the accident.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene. A coroner representative was dispatched to the scene following the fatality.
Several traffic lanes were closed during the investigation.
