Sacramento, CA– Two of the three people killed in a major collision earlier this month in Sacramento have been identified by family members.
Maria Aurora Victoria Titman, 29, and Christian Garcia Flores, 31, were killed in the wreck that occurred just after 4:30 p.m. January 10, in the area of Northgate and Del Paso boulevards.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the accident involved two vehicles. The cause of the collision was yet to be determined.
Police and firefighters responded to the site and found five patients involved in the crash.
Two passengers were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash while a third passenger was pronounced deceased at a hospital. Both drivers were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The identity of the third person killed in the wreck has not been released.
The accident caused road closures in the area as authorities investigated and cleared the scene. The collision is under investigation by the Sacramento Police Department. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call 916-808-5471.
