Sacramento, CA – Two men who were killed in a crash in Sacramento on Friday have been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities identified the victims as 47-year-old Salvador Rodriguez Tafoya and 27-year-old Javier Rebolledo Gomez.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the two men were traveling in the same vehicle when it collided with a second vehicle at the intersection of Roseville Road and Tri Stations Road on June 19, 2026.
The driver, Gomez, and his passenger, Tafoya, were killed in the collision. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office said both men died from multiple blunt trauma.
Information regarding the occupants of the second vehicle and the manner in which the crash occurred has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
