According to California Highway Patrol logs, the pileup occurred around 3 p.m. on April 24 in the eastbound lanes of the 80 Freeway just west of Greenback Lane.

Sacramento, CA – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon on a freeway in Sacramento, resulting in minor injuries.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the pileup occurred around 3 p.m. on April 24 in the eastbound lanes of the 80 Freeway just west of Greenback Lane.
A gray Honda sedan, a white Ford SUV, and a gray Lexus IS250 were involved in the accident. The Honda sedan reportedly clipped the bumper of the Ford SUV, causing it to strike the gray Lexus.
An unknown number of persons sustained minor injuries in the crash. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the victims.
All the vehicles were towed away from the scene.
