The deadly accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on eastbound Young Avenue, west of Lake Isabella Boulevard.
Lake Isabella, CA. – 65-year-old Ronald Stewart Nevius Jr. was killed after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Lake Isabella, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
The deadly accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on eastbound Young Avenue, west of Lake Isabella Boulevard.
Officials said Nevius Jr. was struck by a car under unclear circumstances.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to Kern Valley District Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 10:48 p.m.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
