Rodney Martinez Killed in Riverside Car Crash on Railroad Ave. near Winstrom St.
Riverside County, California (January 31, 2023) – 58-year-old Rodney Martinez has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Monday afternoon in the city of Riverside.
The fatal crash was reported around 2:37 p.m. on January 30, on Railroad Avenue near Winstrom Street, according to the Riverside Police Department Traffic Bureau.
Rodney was driving a 2007 Toyota Scion sedan westbound on Railroad Avenue when he crashed into the rear of a parked garbage truck.
Rodney, a resident of Riverside, was killed in the accident.
The garbage truck driver was inside the truck at the time of the crash but was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
