Riverside, CA – The authorities have released the name of a male baby who was killed in a crash that left two adults and a second baby injured on Interstate 215 in Riverside on Sunday night.
The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner identified the deceased infant as Leon Edgington Morales, a 3-month-old boy from Perris.
Leon died after two vehicles collided at about 7:30 p.m. on March 29, 2026, on northbound I-215 south of Eucalyptus Avenue.
Three other people, including a baby and two adults, were hospitalized following the crash.

Riverside, CA – At least one person was killed in a traffic collision including two adults and two babies on 215 Freeway in Riverside Sunday night.
The deadly wreck was reported at around 7:35 p.m. on the northbound Escondido Freeway south of Eucalyptus Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports revealed that a sedan and at least one other car were involved in the accident.
At around 8:05 p.m., the mother and two infants were transported to the hospital, and the Riverside firefighters were working to extricate the father from the wreckage.
The CHP reported the crash was fatal but did not indicate which patient or patients died.
Animal Control responded to take custody of a dog in the vehicle.
A SigAlert was issued at 8:06 p.m., shutting down all northbound lanes at Eucalyptus Avenue.
