San Jose, CA – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Jose Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 9:22 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 (Bayshore Freeway), just south of Brokaw Road.
As per the CHP, firefighters responded to the scene and located a black sports bike down in the second lane of the highway. The rider was also down on the ground and suffering from major injuries.
There was no description of the vehicle that collided with the rider.
No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
