San Diego, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle that occurred late Friday night on Highway 94 in San Diego, according to a police report.

The deadly crash happened at about 10:35 p.m. on January 5 on eastbound Highway 94 east of Kelton Road overpass.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and located a rider and despite life-saving measures, the Lemon Grove man died at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the rider crashed into a disabled vehicle in the number one lane of eastbound traffic.  The rider was ejected from the motorcycle following the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
