Motorcyclist Injured in San Francisco Accident on Highway 101 near Alanna Way

San Francisco, California (September 1, 2022) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a rider was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident on Wednesday night in San Francisco.

The accident occurred at around 7:53 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, on southbound Highway 101, just south of Alanna Way.

Per the CHP officials, three vehicles, including a motorcycle, crashed for reasons yet to be determined. One of the vehicles, a black Nissan, was reportedly driving at high speed before the accident.

Fire officials and medics arrived to aid the rider, who sustained minor injuries in the crash. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Police closed all lanes except lane 4 following the accident. All lanes were reopened as of 8:51 p.m.

The vehicles were towed away from the accident scene.

Further details concerning this crash were not provided.
