Richmond, CA – A multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle resulted in minor injuries Monday morning in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup was reported around 10:08 a.m. on April 13 on the westbound 80 Freeway at the Central Avenue off-ramp.
According to CHP, a Honda motorcycle, a gray Mercedes, and a third car were involved in the collision. The motorcycle was reportedly street racing with a Ford Mustang prior to the accident.
Richmond firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the parties involved.
At least one person was treated for minor injuries, but it was unclear if they were hospitalized.
Several traffic lanes were closed following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
