
Republic, WA.- A 78-year-old woman was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 20 nearly one mile east of Republic on Friday morning, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
The accident took place on Highway 20 near milepost 303 on Friday, November 28, 2025.
The WSP said Fay L. Norris, 78, of Republic, was driving westbound on the highway at a high rate of speed for conditions when she lost control. The vehicle crashed off the roadway and rolled over.
Norris was declared deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The WSP reported that speed is believed to have played a role in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
