1 Killed, Rebecca Bryant Arrested after Deadly Highway 99 Accident in Tehama County
Tehama County, California (May 17, 2022) – Rebecca Bryant, 46, was arrested following a deadly auto accident in Tehama County on Friday afternoon.
Bryant was reportedly driving a Toyota Corolla northbound on Highway 99 when she drifted into the path of oncoming traffic for unknown reasons.
Allejandro Arrellano was heading south on the highway and swerved to avoid the Toyota.
However, Arrellano’s Chevrolet Malibu collided head-on with a Cadillac Eldorado that was being operated by Felton Price III.
Rebecca Bryant Arrested after Fatal Highway 99 Crash in Tehama County
Bryant reportedly left the scene but was later arrested in Shasta County and booked into the Tehama County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter.
The crash left Price and Arrellano hospitalized with major injuries.
A passenger in Arrellano’s vehicle, identified as a 52-year-old Gridley man, was killed in the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
