Palm Springs, CA – A man was killed Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in Palm Springs, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 8:50 a.m. on September 16 on East San Rafael Drive just west of North Avenida Caballeros.
Police said Raymond Olguin Jr., 29, of Palm Desert, was on the roadway when he was struck by an SUV.
Olguin Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the accident.
The accident closed off East San Rafael from Eucalyptus Drive to North Avenida Caballeros, but the roadway has since reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
