Rancho Cordova, CA – Major injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Rancho Cordova.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 4:19 p.m., February 26, on eastbound Highway 50 near the Hazel Avenue on-ramp.
At least three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and blocked the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
