Prescott Valley, AZ – Two people were killed, and several others were injured in a head-on crash at an intersection in Prescott Valley Thursday afternoon, according to the Prescott Valley Police Department.
The fatal crash happened at approximately 4 p.m. on August 13 at the intersection of State Route 69 and Enterprise Parkway.
According to police, witnesses reported that a truck crossed the median barrier and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were killed in the collision. The identities of those killed were not provided.
The driver of the truck was airlifted to a nearby hospital. Several passengers from both vehicles were also taken to hospitals for treatment.
No arrests were reported in connection with the crash.
Police and other first responders were called to the scene following the crash. The roadway was temporarily closed while officers investigated the collision.
The road has since reopened following the investigation. The fatal Prescott Valley crash remains under investigation.
