Porter Ranch, CA – A 22-year-old motorcycle rider who was killed in a Saturday night crash when he crashed into a car making a U-turn in front of him in the Porter Ranch area of Los Angeles was identified Tuesday.

The Los Angeles County Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim as Kevin Montiel.

The wreck occurred at around 11 p.m. on March 28, 2026, on Reseda Boulevard near Beaufait Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Bureau.

The accident remains under investigation.

Porter Ranch, CA – A male rider was killed after colliding with a vehicle on Reseda Boulevard in Porter Ranch, Los Angeles County, late Saturday night.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Bureau, the accident happened at around 11 p.m. on March 28, 2026, on Reseda Boulevard near Beaufait Avenue.

Reportedly, the driver of the car was making a U-turn from northbound Reseda Boulevard to the southbound side when the car was broadsided by the motorcycle.

The male rider, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
