Repair Shop Employee Injured in Yermo Car Crash on West Yermo Road
Yermo, California (May 2, 2022) – An auto repair shop employee was injured when a police vehicle crashed into a building in Yermo on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.
A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department vehicle was traveling on West Yermo Road when it lost control in the 501 block and flipped multiple times.
The patrol vehicle collided with two vehicles on the side of the road, and the impact propelled the patrol vehicle into the air before landing on the roof of a repair shop.
The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. on May 1, between McCormick and Knowles streets.

An employee who was inside the shop sustained injuries of unspecified severity.
The condition of the involved deputy was not immediately released.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
