Scottsdale, AZ.- A police officer was among two people injured in a crash involving a patrol vehicle in Scottsdale on Friday morning.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, the wreck took place near Hayden and Thomas roads at about 4:30 a.m.
A man operating a military-style SUV reportedly slammed into a parked police cruiser for unspecified reasons.
An officer who was sitting in the parked patrol car was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The other driver was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
