Grant County, OR – One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Grant County, according to authorities.
The fatal crash occurred at about 1:42 p.m. on August 30 on Highway 402 near milepost 31.5.
Oregon State Police said the accident involved a maroon Honda Motorcycle, operated by 63-year-old Philip Westly Bunger of Tacoma.
According to preliminary reports, the motorcycle was eastbound on Highway 402 when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the road onto loose gravel beside the road and rolled several times.
Bunger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
