Peter Steve Lopez Pelaez dies in 5 Freeway collision near Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton
Stockton, CA. – A CHP Cadet has been identified as the man who died in a car crash in Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Benjamin Holt Drive.
Peter Steve Lopez Pelaez was driving a car when he crashed into the back of a stopped big rig.
The car became wedged underneath the trailer after the collision.
Pelaez was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
