Tucson, AZ.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Tucson on Sunday night, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The accident occurred on Speedway Boulevard near Camilla Boulevard on Sunday, September 14.
According to TPD, a pedestrian was walking north across Speedway Boulevard outside of the crosswalk when they were hit by a westbound driver.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of the next-of-kin.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The Tucson Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
