San Francisco, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a suspected DUI driver in San Francisco early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on I-280 just north of the Geneva Avenue on-ramp at about 12:09 a.m. March 3.
A Nissan Sentra was stopped on the right shoulder when it's driver walked into the the southbound lanes and was hit by a Chevrolet Cruze.
The Nissan driver, a 26-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver, a 33-year-old man, was arrested and booked into the San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
