San Francisco, CA. – A UC San Francisco police officer and two others were injured in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday evening near an intersection in the city.

According to the San Francisco police, the collision occurred just after 6 p.m. near 16th Street and Potrero Avenue.

A UC SF patrol vehicle collided with a civilian car under unclear circumstances.

The officer and two occupants in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
