San Francisco, CA.- Police are searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco over the weekend.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, authorities responded at around 2:10 a.m. October 4, to the incident near Cortland and Anderson streets.
A driver reportedly fled the scene after hitting and critically injuring a pedestrian.
Police performed life-saving measures on the victim at the scene until medics arrived.
Medics transported the pedestrian to a hospital but the victim succumbed to the injuries.
The San Francisco Police Department is investigating the accident.
