The crash was reported at around 3:40 a.m. on Hughes and Weber avenues.
Authorities reported that a driver fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in the area.
Officers responded to the scene and found the victim lying in the roadway with critical injuries.
Despite life-saving measures performed on the victim, they succumbed to the injuries at the scene.
There was no description of the suspect or vehicle involved in the collision.
