San Jose, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Jose on Sunday night.
According to a report by the San Jose Police Department, the crash took place in the area of South King Road and Aldrich Way at about 10:13 p.m. August 10.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Both directions of South King Road were shut down for hours as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
