According to CHP, a pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes of the freeway was hit by a vehicle

San Dimas, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Dimas on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on the 57 Freeway near Arrow Highway shortly before 10 p.m. August 9.
According to CHP, a pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes of the freeway was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At least two southbound lanes were shut down as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
