Antioch, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a vehicle in Antioch on Friday evening, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on State Route 4 at Hillcrest Avenue shortly after 7:15 p.m. November 21.
Authorities said a vehicle hit a 63-year-old Antioch man on the eastbound on-ramp to SR 4.
The victim was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
The Antioch Police Department is investigating the accident.
