Colton, Calif. – A 30-year-old Colton resident died Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Colton, according to a police report.
According to Colton Police Department, the deadly crash happened on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at approximately 7:10 pm, in the area of E. Washington Street and Santo Antonio Drive.
Colton Police Department officers responded to the traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
On arrival, the officers found the pedestrian suffering from critical injuries. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:22 p.m.
The name of the victim was withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
