Los Angeles, CA – A pedestrian in their 60's was critically injured in a Tuesday morning crash on Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the wreck occurred at around 9:25 a.m. February 11, on Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street.
According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was walking in a marked crosswalk on the street when they were struck by a southbound black Ford F-150 pickup truck on Reseda Boulevard, turning left onto Clark Street.
The driver of the car, identified as 48-year-old Jessee Robinson, of Tarzana, left the scene after the incident.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition for treatment.
Robinson later turned himself in to police in connection to the crash, was arrested and booked by Valley Traffic detectives for suspicion of felony hit-and-run, and was held on $80,000 bail.
No additional details about the accident were available.
An investigation is underway.
