Hesperia, CA.– A man was airlifted after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Hesperia on Tuesday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at around 7:40 p.m. November 4, in the 14200 block of State Route 138.
According to the report, a man was walking south along SR 138 when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene afterwards.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department crews transported the pedestrian to Hesperia Airport by ground ambulance.
The victim was then airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center by Mercy Air.
There was no update on the condition of the pedestrian.
Authorities believe the involved vehicle was a Ford F-150.
The incident is under investigation by the Hesperia Police Department.
