Pauma Valley, CA – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 76 in Pauma Valley Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The San Diego Medical Examiner’s office identified the deceased woman as Miranda White, a 27-year-old resident of Pauma Valley.
The crash occurred at about 2:12 p.m. on April 3, 2026, on State Route 76, east of Pauma Valley Drive.
According to CHP, White was driving a vehicle when, for some reason, she struck a guardrail before colliding with a pickup truck.
White sustained severe injuries in the crash. She was transported by air ambulance to Palomar Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries at approximately 12:02 a.m. on April 4, 2026. No other injuries or arrests were immediately reported.
Emergency responders, including law enforcement and fire personnel, arrived at the scene after a 911 call and provided lifesaving measures before the victim was airlifted to the hospital.
The crash impacted traffic along State Route 76 as crews assisted those involved and cleared the roadway.
The incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol – Oceanside Division.
