Pauline Bui Among 3 Injured in Fatal Silverado Canyon Crash on Santiago Canyon Road
Silverado Canyon, California (December 20, 2022) – Pauline Bui was among three people injured in a Friday afternoon car accident that killed one other party in Silverado Canyon, According to the CHP.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:41 p.m., on December 16, on Santiago Canyon Road near Limestone Canyon, east of Limestone Canyon Regional Park.
According to the officials, a Ferrari, driven by Robert Joseph Nicoletti, 71, of Rancho Santa Margarita, was headed southbound on Santiago Canyon when it failed to navigate the curvature in the roadway.
The Ferrari reportedly veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Toyota Venza driven by Bui and then collided with a Mazda driven by Daniel Ryan.
As a result of the crash impact, Nicoletti’s Ferrari was split into two.
Sadly, Nicoletti, who was ejected from his vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bui was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center with minor injuries. A passenger in Bui’s car was taken to Mission Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Ryan was taken to Mission Hospital with minor injuries.
Alcohol was not suspected of playing a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
