Palm Desert, CA – A two-vehicle vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist left one person hospitalized on Monday morning in Palm Desert.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded just before noon March 8, to reports regarding an accident in the area of San Gorgonio Way and Monterey Avenue.
Upon arrival, deputies located an injured motorcyclist and the driver of a second vehicle. A preliminary investigation determined that the vehicles collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Medics transported the motorcyclist to a hospital and the patient was said to be in stable condition.
The identities of the motorcyclist and the other driver, who was unharmed in the incident, were not immediately released by the Sheriff’s deputies.
Authorities did not specify whether speed or impaired driving were factors in the accident and there were no immediate reports of any arrests at the scene.
