Ontario, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left one person injured on Interstate 15 in Ontario on Sunday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 12:07 p.m. on the southbound side of Interstate 15 near Jurupa Street.
Reports indicate that at least three vehicles, including a white Mercedes-Benz, a black Dodge van, and a white Honda Pilot, were involved in the collision. The vehicles were traveling along the southbound lanes when they collided under unclear circumstances.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. No fatalities were reported, and it is unclear whether any arrests were made.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and worked to assist those involved and clear the roadway.
The crash caused significant disruption in the area, blocking the slow lane and up to three-quarters of the right-hand lanes, leading to traffic delays along the interstate.
The incident remains under investigation.
