Santa Clara, CA. – One person was severely injured in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning in Santa Clara.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 7:32 a.m. on the Great America Parkway on-ramp to the northbound Highway 101.
A black Buick SUV and a white street sweeper truck were involved in the crash.
One person suffered serious injuries, including a lower spine fracture and brain breed. Emergency personnel responded and transported the victim to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
