One Person Seriously Injured in Crash on SR-37 and SR-121 in Sonoma

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 10:19 p.m. on State Route 37 at State Route 121.

Sonoma, CA. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a car accident that happened Thursday night just in front of Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 10:19 p.m. on State Route 37 at State Route 121.

A Toyota Prius and a Mercedes-Benz were involved in the crash.

Two off-duty San Quentin police officers were at the scene before emergency personnel arrived. The officers were directing traffic.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.

One person was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries, including multiple leg fractures.

Both cars were towed away with major front-end damage.

CHP officers are investigating the accident.
