Yolo County, CA. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a single-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning in Yolo County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Highway 16 near Cleveland Street.
A car reportedly hit a tree for an unknown reason.
The driver crawled out of the vehicle, bleeding from the head and with a possibly broken leg.
Yolo County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the patient to Station 22, from where the victim was airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
